Product Packaging

Some product packaging may become affected by temperature and humidity while in storage and become hiding places for insect pests such as Cockroaches, Springtails and Booklice. So, we would recommend you to thoroughly check the packaging of these purchases before bringing them into your home.

Festive Plants

If you are purchasing festive plants, flowers and trees we also advise you to check them carefully before bringing them indoors. Even though imported plants are certified they can still become hosts for common pests found in Hong Kong.

Dried Foods & Ingredients

Some dried foods such as rice, fruits, nuts and chocolate, can remain contaminated even after the production process and eventually find their way into your home. This can lead to beetles and moths occurring in your living area. We recommend keeping such foods in sealed containers for correct storage to prevent any possible outbreak and possible contamination of other food stuff.

Food Leftovers & Waste

Food leftovers and waste can attract insects and rodents. Make sure any food leftovers are put away promptly and any waste disposed of in rubbish bins with tightly fitted covers. Ensure that rubbish bags are tied up to prevent any leaks or spills.
